MICROCHIPPING
|
This section is for our members to help simplify searching for pet
mircrochip registrations. Please bookmark this page for future use.
This section is not affiliated with any microchip database. Instead we
aim to provide clear and concise instructions on how to find out which
database the chip number you are interested in is registered on, and
then explain how to retrieve the registered owner's details from that
database.
We also provide direct links to the log-in pages of the
Europetnet-affiliated databases that are commonly used in Ireland,
advice on how to get a user name and password, as well as contact phone
numbers for these companies. These links will open in a new tab or new
browser window.
Europetnet - When a pet you are presented with is found to be microchipped you
should first check on the Europetnet database to see which national
database the chip is registered on. It will not tell you any
information about the registrant. To visit the Europetnet database - Click Here
After performing this search you should then be able to retrieve the
owner's contact details from the relevant national database. Links to
the Europetnet-affiliated databases commonly used in Ireland are listed
below.
