The Cattle Association of Veterinary Ireland 2011

The Cattle Association of Veterinary Ireland (CAVI) will hold its Annual Conference in The Rochestown Park Hotel in Cork from the 14th to the 16th of October 2011.

14.5 CVE Credits are available for attending the conference.

Members can book now to avail of the reduced Early bird Rate! (Closing 3rd September)

ENDOCRINOLOGY

This event was held in Citywest, Sligo and Limerick, 6 CVE Credits were awarded.

 

RESPIRATORY MEDICINE

Speaker - Professor Brendan Corcoran

Cork, Galway and Citywest held this one day course and 6 CVE Credits were available.

TVI HACCP

The course is primarily a ‘workshop activity’ dealing with the issues involved in the management of Food Safety, particularly from the point of view of TVIs. The aim is to enable participants to obtain an understanding of the issues involved in Risk Assessment and Risk Management in a modern regulatory system. Successful completion of the course will reward participants with 12 CVE Credits (Annual requirement is 20) in one single day.

SPEAKER – GERARD GILLIGAN MVB MRCVS 

 

Gerard Gilligan qualified in 1978.  He has been in mixed practice in Co. Donegal since 1979. Gerard developed and delivered courses on Food Safety Management Systems and HACCP on behalf of Food Companies and The Department of Agriculture. He is also an Auditor on behalf of the Certification Bodies including Bord Bia. Gerard is the Lead Assessor for the Veterinary Council for the Practice Accreditation Scheme
